Borderlands 2 is a damn fine game. I’d even say it has the potential for 2012 Game of the Year. The gun hunting is absurdly fun but I’m also thoroughly addicted to leveling skill specs. Each character has 3 different skill trees that play on their abilities. At the moment, the level cap is 50. If you invest the minimum points to reach the end of one skill tree, you’ll have roughly enough to do half of another tree. As a nice touch, you can reset all your points at the New-U stations for a nominal fee, so you’re not permanently locked into poor skill decisions.
Gearbox is nice enough to give us an online Skill Tree Calculator too. This allows you to experiment with skill point distribution and plan ahead for your future bad ass. Check it out.
